8 hours each way and they had a christening to go to on Sunday so they'd have to be back by Sunday.

Yeah, it would have been 8-10hrs there on Friday, $80 in gas, and $90 for hotel to bash for 5hrs, & have to drive another 8-10hrs home Saturday afternoon so Ratzo could be back for a Christening on Sunday... Just didn't seem logical. Of course we called each other on Saturday, & said "Damn, we could've been bashin right now"... lol
Next year we'll plan it a little better... Glad to hear you guys had a great time...

OK kids, here's ED's attempt at a "do it yourself vasectomy"....enjoy!

Here's a few more from Saturday at the bash.......

this is true

I was running three separate buggies and all without lids. After the first couple of minutes, El Destructo saw my reasoning in action and started to run his without lids.

So, NO. The majority of us do not run without lids. The majority of buggies in the pictures belong to me. BUT they are not the only buggies that were in action. Russ was running with bodies, El Pirata was running with bodies (when he was running and not taking pictures), El Destructo started running with a body, Loser ran with bodies all the time, and SkyLineRacer ran with his body on the entire time.

Those running Savages strapped their bodies on after they got things tuned...but they did not run for long. The best proof of that would be the Savage jumping the berm and developing a permanent chassis bend from a nose on landing from 20FT onto blacktop.

AWESOME pics guys. Looks like the wheather was great, and a lot of fun was had. Hey Skyline your buggy will land a lot beeter if you attach a tail! :)

Actually his buggy flew and landed pretty darn well without the fin. His first landing shown in the video I made was a an uncontrolled landing. His buggy was not in his line of site...big ass berm was in the way. All future jumps were made with the person controlling their ride from the top of the berm. The fourth and fifth jumps in my video were also his buggy. Those landings were much better than his first.
