Our first goal will be $500.00
This will go directly to the cost of changing to a dedicated server, programing, and related costs of moving.

Everyone has stuff hanging around they don't need.
During the month of January members are encouraged to pledge and sell something on E-Bay and donate the funds to RCNT. Items don't have to be RC related.

You may take out any fees that are charged by E-Bay and PayPal and donate the rest to RCNT. It doesn't matter what the price is, every little bit will help.

Post a link to the auction(s) here in this thread so we can bid or watch the bidding. At the end of the month, Kudos will be given to those that participate. Once an item is sold you can donate the funds to RCNT by sending the money to the RCNT PayPal account.

whast up guys, i got a few PS2 games but i dont have a digital camera nor ebay account can one of you guys sell them for me? I've got a bunch a stuff around here.
 
I got a new 190MM HPI Gallardo body that I have no use for. Never touched but the bag is open. I'll put it up sometime tomorow or Sunday.
 
You guys are catching on.
Anything that you have hanging out that will help the cause.
Posting stuff on e-bay with no reserve is a great way to generate cash for things that you really have no need for. Every 5 spot adds to the goal 10 and 20 spots get us there even quicker.

I will post several things this Monday or Tuesday.
 
How about sstarting a section for things being sold on the forum where ALL PROCEEDS GO TO RCNT?
 
Since I don't have things to sell, I'll send cash through the contributions section.

I plan on holding some kind of fundraiser every month.
This is defiantly one of the things we will do in the future.
At this point our goal is to try to get the server moved ASAP.
E-Bay offerers a much larger audience to purchase products.

People are not bound to only participate in this style of raising funds. By all means, post something for sale in the FS forum and donate the proceeds. Or as mentioned above, just donate some loot if you would like.

I also sent over a contribution yesterday for $6. Not sure if you want to count that towards the $500 goal or not.

I havent been here a long time but rcnt has been so helpfull, is there anyway to donate money without selling on ebay
 
We are off to a good start.
We only need an average of $16.00 a day to make the goal this month.

There are several auctions going and several people have pledged to put more up this coming week. Please look in your parts box and around the house for something to post for sale on E-Bay to help the cause.

What a great opportunity to get rid of those unwanted X-Mass presents from Auntie Gertrude and Uncle Milford.
