Yeah, bad weather hurt Brady and Moss. Heck in my other league, I had D. Anderson, and NO back-up, I picked up orton and benched Anderson b/c of the weather!!

Gotta tell ya, Rob. I spent all day yesterday convinced I was toast. Romo had a terrible game. And I figured that you and I are both pretty invested in Green Bay so I thought Favre was going score well and put me out. Go figure. Although we're not far apart, and if A. Peterson fizzles again tonight like last week, it'll be close.

congrats Dognuts. You slipped past me barely. Hasselback sat out the last half of the game or so and that cost me big time!
Do you have the "stat tracker"? I dont, and I knew this would be very close. I had some of the wrong people in, I left a lot of points on the bench.
I wasn't sure why you started him, I knew he would not play much since they dont have the bye. i had a feeling Engram would have a decent game if he played, thats why it was hard for me to let him go.

Yea I've got stattracker, you beat me 232 - 206. I didn't really have any other QB to start. I had been observing the seahawks websites and the updates they were making concerning the playing time of the starters. Holmgren said he wanted momentum going into the playoffs and hasselback said in an interview that he would play alot. I also heard that their starters were going to play unless they were beating the falcons by alot. So I decided to just go with it.
Towards the end of the season you sometimes get unlucky with teams siting out players, but thats the way it is.
I think it is safe to say that Brees saved your ass? woo 115 points.

Yeah, Brees is the MAN when it comes to completions. I moved him way up in my draft because of it. We need to change this for next year, the QB just has a chance for way too many points compared to other players.
I evevn picked up Warner because I saw Hill was going to be out, and I figured Matt would only play a 1/2 without the bye. I sat Burress, figuring he would only play a 1/2,bad move on my part. He would have been better than any of the other 3 WR's. COMBINED! lol

Man, 3rd place. Not so bad. But that 3rd place game was sad.
Anyway, good season. vb, I have one question about next season. Just food for thought. But I noticed at least 1 player who essentially abandoned his team really early in the season. Can we make some sort of implied rule that if someone abandons their team, the commish and offer up his players to guys who are still into playing? Load that team with dogs and essentially forfeit all the rest of his games? It's just frustrating when someone walks away and has decent players still on their team that we can't get to.

I can understand that, but if you drop his players in say the 5th? game, he should forfiet his games that he may have won as well.
I would just perfer people just PLAY the whole year. I love the compettive leagues, heck i came in at .500 in the other league i'm in, and we all tried till the end.I was making roster moves(costing $1 each) even though there was no way I could win the Championship, just to win my last game!
If you are not going to try the whole year.....dont sign up. I would rather a 8 team league!

+1 for dropping the completions from the QB's score sheet. its just too nutty when a guy scores an extra 40 points for that. as for the guys not playing the whole year. thats another thing. i say we limit the league to 8-10 people (mostly regulars to site). this way we know people will play the whole year.
umm wow - I didn't think this was over till the Super Bowl had played... shows you how many times I've done this.
