Like them or not I believe the best QB in the game right now is at the least a tie with Manning (Peyton) and Brady. To even try to think that Eli is even as good as either is just comical. What do you guys think?

I would argue Phillip Rivers and Drew Brees need to be in that class as well.
 
No.

Next tier down? Sure. I think Eli has a lot of potential and is better than most QBs in the league. He still needs a few seasons to really congeal. I do think Payton is easily one of the best. I guess I'll give Brady a nod although I think he's a giant douche. Brees and Rivers? Maybe. I just don't know if they're as tight as Manning and Brady. They are good, no doubt.
Coming from Syracuse I had high hopes for McNabb to be up in that class. But he has been more than a bit of a let-down. Makes me sad. He was great for SU football.
 
Good thing you mentioned it. I had it marked as tomorrow...so who you picking to go first?

I'm ok for 9 tonight.... but it says we have an odd number of teams..... we can't set a draft date until we have an even number of teams.

I think he needs to back it back from 12 teams to 10, which is much better imo, but we will still need one more.

I'm with you there. 6 is grilling time on Sundays!
 
OK....so I'll just sit here confused until we have clarification. I have my alarm set for tonight. But if it is next sunday I'm ok with it. I'm on vacation for 10 days so I have plenty of time.
 
same here...i just checked the league and it says next Sunday at 3pm? what happened to tonight at 9?
 
OK. Looks like I'll be in and ready for the draft no prob next weekend. But if it's a case where there are an odd number of teams, I'll volunteer to drop out for this season if need be. I enjoy playing even if I really suck. I just want to see the league happen this year and if I have to watch from the sidelines that's fine with me.
 
Man I botched that one up. I thought I had set it for the 21st @ 9... which I missed myself.

I'll change it again for this Sunday (28th) @ 9. Lets try to get one more person in on the league and then I can drop the league size back to 10 and we can get this thing under way!!! :D

This is going to be interesting... I will have 2 drafts going at the same time.... man its going to be frantic! LOL
 
Lol same for me. The league I started with some guys at work is set for the same day. We haven't decided what type of draft we'll do yet.

Both of mine are live drafts... hopefully I don't pick in the same order on both teams. My other league is 2 minutes per pick.

I just checked and its still set up for 3pm pacific, which is 6 Eastern. So are we going 6 eastern or 9? I hope 9 eastern, 6 is gonna be real tough for me to make on the 28th.
 
Why does this thing hate me? It went off so much easier last year!!

All I want to do is change the time and it only gives me: 9am, 10am, 11am, and 12pm for August 28th. If we want to change it to a week day I'm given more time slots. 6PM on sunday is going to be awfully early for me as well.
 
Maybe there are a lot of leagues set for draft in that time slot, and they closed it?

Just a thought.
