I've pretty much narrowed it down to those two.. and its a hard decision being there both very nice truggies.. I was just wonderin what you guys would choose.. :) TT21

The RC8T is a very nice, light, well balanced, awesome handling truggy, and so is the XT8, minus a few points on the handling.
What I mean by that is they both handle great in qualifying but in a 30-45 minute main the XT8 starts to feel a little squirrelly.
The RC8T feels a little weak but it isn't, and has stood up remarkably well to the last 5 full race days without a spanner, except to tighten up servo saver on bellcrank.
After a while though you will need to replace rear arms because the hingepins tend to flog out a little, but thats not much of a problem.

Yaa i was lookin at the RTR for the rc8 and it looked like a good deal but I'm lookin at a roller xt8 now and i havent decided.. but thnx to everyone

Out of the 2 the rc8t out handles the old spec hands down but as far as durability and your age i would get the xt8 you wont go through as many parts because xrays quality is top notch as were the rc8t can be a bit fragile at times

OK, I do not own nor have I owned an RC8T, however, I've raced against several with my Xray XT8. The XT8 can be as comfortable or as squirley as you want it to be, based on your setup. I will say I don't think the RC8T brakes anymore often than the XT8 does. Both reliable trucks and will out-perform MOST others on the track. However, since I switched to the new Z01T, I'm leaving my old running buddies behind. This truck is very predictable and and handles the rough stuff leaps and bounds better than either of the aforementioned trucks. Just throwin' a wrench at ya. My XT8 just sits on the shelf now.

i think i'm going to be picking up a new "old style" very soon...amain has them on for $374.99..plus i think i have the $25 coupon code so it would be about $350 for a $640 truck....i'll wait a lil bit longer and see if it goes down any more..the new one is in stock so they might try harder and get this thing off the shelfs..i just don't want to wait to long and have them be gone lol
