just got an email from the lhs i bought the 't' from. he says it should be here friday or saturday. evidently horizon only got about one third of what they were supposed to get for the first shipment so these things will be rare til they get the rest of em in. just thought id let y'all know that they are pretty much here already. later.

oh- ill let you know how it is as soon as i get it.

i think he said he is selling them around $155, but i get mine at cost + shipping and whatever i want to throw in cuz I'm a nice guy. probably $125 or so.

Yeah I am sure that is what Horizon is saying so they can try and charge more for the Christmas season, I know of two LHS near me that got theirs and they didn't get shorted in their orders, Hummmmm :boxing:

you're probably right. maybe he is getting shorted becuase its a small shop? sounds like the horizon way of business.

Horizon does do this. They seem to ship to the shops that order the larger quantities first...so hopefully they'll still be there for your lhs.

well i picked mine up friday night and started the initial 10 hour charge on the battery. i ran about half of the pack just to see how well it ran and it rocked pretty good- much more than a stock mini t. then i went down to the lhs to pick up my mamba bl system and its still not here (after a couple of months waiting for it). got a peak modified motor to use til it gets here. now the esc is acting up because i guess its not designed for that motor. now i gotta call a friend and see if he wants to sell the lrp q2 that he got from me in a trade a while back...oh this sucks.
just know that it does rock and is well worth the $150 or so that they will be selling for. ill race it next weekend to know how it fairs on the track.

This little sucker might make the Mini-T a thing of the past... Oil filled shocks, adjustable ball diffs, ball beafings, 6v 1100mah battery battery pack with charger, shaft driven 4wd, no funky 4wire servos and normal electronics.
Straight out of the box it's got a lot more to offer than the Mini-T does, for the same price. And with the M18t coming out that'll also make the 4wd 1/18 trucks even more popular.

yeah that wouldnt bother me. i guess I've always been more of an a.e. fan. i have said i wouldnt even name my dog losi, but i did anyway just for a joke. I'm hoping these 4wd mini's grow in popularity enough to have organized racing for them.

There will be! If nobody else comes out with a 2wd 1/18 truck, that could be trouble for the Mini-T though!
