rc18t antenna

after susman's post about the positioning of the antenna on the revo, it made me look at my 18t. the plastic sleeve that goes over the antenna is being worn through from short speed runs on my street. what can i do with it to keep from eventually screwing up the whole antenna?

Occasionally change the tube. I get them by the pack of 25 units from my LHS.
