I read over at 1/18th and was suggested to use a bit of fuel tubing. Tried it and VOILA! it does not do it anymore. I just have a problems with the draglink. It seems to not center or get stuck more to the right or left. I am hoping an aluminum steering set up will remove that as well.
 
i've got the aluminum steering setup and dp draglinks and i still have a little play in the steering. i also have a metal servo saver spring/clip and it seems like my only play comes from there.
 
The play is not what I don't want but the binding. I am waitiing to hear from DP about the link. Too good to pass up a fix like that.
