i got the parts for my GT and i finally got them in and together and now the problem is the electronics dont work right...the servos and the controller are not communicating with each other.. the servos twitch when i turn them on but when i turn on the controller... the controller does nothing it doesn't turn the steering servo it doesn't make the throttle servo move at all.... i think the crystals are good but idk i only own one car so i can't test to seee if the crystals are good... i might have to buy new equipment , new servos , new receiver everything.. what do yu guys think?
 
maybe you should take it into your lhs and ask them if they can help you test your crystal issue.. They will usually help you do anything. Took my friends gt into the lhs and he helped him tune it and mod a few things.
 
I had a similar problem after I got my receiver wet. A corner of the roof over my workshop blew off in a storm and my maxx got rained on a lot. When I turned the truck on, the servos would bounce and twitch like crazy and wouldn't respond to the transmitter. I changed the receiver, and everything has been doing good for a few months.
 
Stupid question, but when you plugged in your servos to the receiver did you put the black wire to the outside of the receiver? Try turning the plug around...
 
yes i plugged the wire in right and i juss bought new receiver and it was workin fine then it stop workin all of sudden! but i guess ill hav to buy a new one!
 
id check the switch and crystals first, cheap and always good to have spares if they dont fix the problem.
 
what bout a new receiver.. will that work or at least try it to see if that is the problem?

It would be a lot easier for us to understand what you are trying to say if you would use proper grammer and some punctuation. I think you said that you bought a new receiver and it worked for a while and stopped.

Does this mean that you bought a brand new receiver and it worked for 5 minutes and quit working, or did you buy a new receiver that worked for 6 months and quit working? If you just fried a brand new receiver in a few minutes, there is a reason. If you don't correct the problem that burned up the receiver, you will just burn up another one.
