Well I'm not sure if I should be starting a new thread or not.

The Rush Evo engine has been sent back to HPI for inspection. I'm hoping they will warranty the engine, as their decision will certainly steer me in the proper direction on my next Nitro truck purchase. Overall I like the Rush as a good beginner truck. I hope even if I overheated the engine it would be in their best interest to warranty the engine for customer service sake. If they don't I will buy a OS motor and sell the truck on eBay with the unbroken in motor. The truck is 3 weeks old with one quart of fuel run through it. New Hpi Yokohama Geolanders, white mesh HPI wheels, rear purple HPI brace. Original wheels and tires never saw tar.

Anyways in the meantime to keep myself on the dirt I picked up a RC10GT with a bunch of RPM suspension stuff, aftermarket pipe, OFNA starter box, radio, and a parts case full of extra stuff for $100 bucks! This truck goes like a graped ape and started right up after 2 years of sitting! I have a wish list all set up for a Atomik body, Proline Dirt Hawgs, HPI wheels, and some misc stuff. These trucks are really nice, I'm impressed with the performance. Its a little touchy, definitely more "boy racer" than the subdued Rush Evo!

Any tips or suggestions about owning this truck? I believe its from 03. I need to know what wheels fit also, I don't like the dish whels, looking for more of a flashy, 5 spoke style, chrome. Or if someone can identify the wheels on the Atomik website

I think they are HPI.

OK thanks I'll measure now. So the 3/16 wheels will fit then? I like the wheels pictured on the Atomik website. Any idea if they are the HPI?

Thanks! I thought they were HPI, but wasn't sure.

Anyone ever notice HPI Europe's website blows away the U.S. HPI website?

yup, i noticed that aswell. They have lots of videos and everything.

I would try using a hex setup with that truck, that's what I did and I had no problems with it. If you run a good engine in that truck, the pins will spin in the wheels over time.
