i have an rc10gt with a ae 15 i just ordeed on ebay and its on its way.....i need to know what gearing i should run and if 18/62 is to low......will the motor b able to pull that high ofa gear I'm olny looking for top end I'm hoping to gte about 45 out of it........what are you guys running?
 
the gearing that i am runnning right now is 66/16 with the AE .15 engine. good for high speeds. don't know if it will reach 45, but my guess is its close to 40. the motor will handle that if it's tuned right.
 
It migh be able to pull them gears but you should only change one at a time.First go with the 18 tooth cb and see what happens,If you need more speed then go with the spur gear.
 
The RC10 GT Will handle any gearing that will fit. The .15s are more than adequate for such a light RC.
You just need to match it up with you driving surface and style.
