Well, I took my new toy out for its maiden voyage, and damn does she rip! Wants to pull wheelies like no other. Anyways, I was tearing down the road and wet through a couple small puddles.. I decided it was probably not good for it, and put it in front of a heater vent to dry off. Then I removed the receiver and disassembled it, dried it real good with a blow dryer, then reassembled it.

Ever since, the throttle will 'stick' and I lose all steering control. (I dont have a failsafe, going to get one tomorrow) It seems to do it only when I'm wide open throttle and I bump into something. (like a bump in the road)

What should I be looking for as far as what the cause may be?

I was thinking of ordering a couple new (upgraded) servo's.
 
Could be that your throttle servo is sticking at full throttle, or maybe your linkage may need to be lubricated since it has gotten wet.

Thanks for the tips, I'll try lubing the linkage, and will pull the servo off to see if maybe a tooth on the gear is broken.
 
I replaced the receiver with a spare my buddy had. Seems to work great now! Can anyone recommend a good receiver and failsafe? I was looking at the JR receivers and venom failsafes. any good?
 
Maybe the throttle lever has worked its way forward a hair, and is getting too far down, so the servo can't push or pull on it. The lever isn't locked in place, so it can move. Do you have the stock throttle return spring on there? It seemed to work good on those rotary carbs.
 
Yep, the throttle return spring is stock. Everything seems to be working great now that I switched out the receiver. Cept for the brakes. Whats the trick to getting the brakes to grab?
 
First, make sure the brake hex nut in the disc has not melted. Sometimes that happens, and you get no brakes. Next, you need to adjust the linkage. If it still has that little spring on the brake linkage, put a piece of equal length fuel tubing on there.
