check to make sure you set the clutch up correctly.if you can stop the wheels without the engine dieing then the clutch is good. the clutch on these trucks doesn't have any springs so they may pull a small bit at idle. as long as you can set the truck on the ground and it doesn't drive away your ok. some people even set it so at idle the brakes drag just a touch because of this.


also obviously check to make sure your idle isnt to high.
 
If you can't get your engines' idle low enough to get it to stand still, you might want to consider an MIP 4-in-1 clutch for it. It can be set one of four ways, and has a spring on it to help it disengage fully at idle. It only costs about $5 or so, if memory serves. It'll fit the stock flywheel/clutchbell. You'll need to remove two shoe-pegs on the flywheel, however. A large pair of channellocks works perfectly for this.
