I am looking into producing a variety of colored graphite chassis and matching shock towers for the RC10GT nitro stadium truck. This graphite material will offer lighter weight while still retaining the strength. The material I use is real graphite not black or colored fiberglass that brakes easily. Would any of you folks be interested in this type of product? Any concerns ?

I think I would snap a graphite chassis on the RC10GT real quick....I dunno...I have never seen anyone run a graphite chassis on the RC 10GT

Graphite chassis on a nitro offroad truck doesn't seem like a good idea to me. I could see maybe some shock towers to reduce weight and add stiffness thought.

yeah.. i seen some carbon fiber chassis's for the XXXNt.. i think they work because of Losi's center brace that runs the length of the truck almost..

AE dont have much chassis brace in their truck.. i dont think it would be very good.. Also AE is working on a new GT2

if you read the description the guy says "i think it's cf but it might be graphite"

i would never buy anything from a guy that doesn't even know what he's selling

Thanks for the replies.

I checked out the chassis on ebay, and boy does that look like crap. It looks like it was made from a pice of flat stock, or something.

Nope, when I manufacture items they look like they belong there, "They look good." Also, I know what material they are made of, No guessing. Likewise, I am conserned about how a graphite chassis for a RC10GT would hold up. Although I am very confident that it will work out just fine for that application, I would beat the snot out of one before selling any, just to see what it could hold up to.
