hi i got a new savage 25 and ran it in but my brother messed around with the needels and it wont start can someone pleas tell me wat the needel setings shud be i had it going 4 about 10 secs it took 20 secs to start it was going mad plz help

The stock needle setting should be in the little engine manual that came with the truck. I'm not familiar with the HPI 25, so I don't know if it's a 2 or 3 needle carb. At any rate, carefully turn the LSN in (lean) intil it just seats, no more or you might damage the carb. Then turn it out the number of turns in the manual. Do the same with the HSN. Now you're at "factory" settings, which should be right for breakin, though you will have to lean them some once the engine is fully broken in.

hey pat, you know your the one that messed up your needles. haha j/p. but ya just go from factory and just tune it from there like error said. good luck.

WAIT A MIN!!!!!! thats what i did i bet!!!! my engine has been running hot ever since i tried to tune it one day and screwed my LSN real fast until it stoped so i think i might have damaged the carb btw i have a MGT it is 45degrese outside and i idle my truck for about 20 seconds took it for a quick lap in a circle and come back and the thing was runnin bout 300 so i cut it off i have it running rich which i can tell by the bluewhite smoke from exhaust so ?? do you think that might be it??
