@jimdavis577 is this near your racing area at all? I thought I remembered you saying Texas was some of your stomping grounds. 😎
I'm about 8-10 hours south of dallas, depending how you drive and how brave you are down I35. In the Dallas area though, you have one indoor track for TC racing at the mall, then there is a track abit west in Abilene, and I know thornehill is near there, there is also suppose to be one down in copperas cove area near ft hood ( now known as Ft Chavos.... LAME !!!) .

But I am in the very southern tip of Texas in the Rio Grande Valley, in a town called Alamo, and to race down here at 95% of the oval / offroad tracks, You need to reside in an 55+ rv park or community. There is however a Local Offroad 1/8 scale privately owned track that a guy runs races about every other week that is super nice. Then one of the hobby shops has a small 1/16 Losi Mini B track.

Hey thanks! I saw one near Austin called Thompson raceway, is that what you're talking about about in the first one? What's it called?

Thanks! Maybe you guys will end up racing together one day! Its easy for me to forget just how big Texas is! 🤣
Found one that looks pretty good called A1 AIR raceway kinda sandwiched between fort Worth and west Dallas. Anyone know or been to it?
I hope its a good one!!!
Remember to post pics and videos!!! 👍

I wish I had more info but I'm in Maine. 🤣Curious if you checked Fakebook? Sometimes tracks post there or on liverc.
I hope you get to race while you're travelling! That sounds fun to me! 😁
Any pics or info from your travels would be interesting to lots of folks... Traxxas is pretty popular around here. You could post a thread about it even. 👍
Good luck!!!

Haha! It's open to RC right? Saw it's some sort of skate park. I saw a place called Thompson raceway and it's a dirt oval. Side track, but I ran my RB10 on 3s and it wheelied every time I'd hit the throttle. lol, now looking for wheelie bars
yes thompson is the raceway i was talking about, there is also another one out by San Angelo called STR they have a FB page only and race 1/8 1/10 offroad and also 1/10 Oval

On a side note, be careful running 3s on oval, most tracks( not all) but most set a limit to 2s ONLY. and if your caught running anything bigger you are subject to be asked to leave. Down here in the "valley" if we catch you running 3s or bigger, ( during any sanctioned race) you are dq'd and asked to leave that race night. Running that large on most oval is too fast for the track to be safe and its a liability for the track
