I don't know if this is the right place to post this or not but either way I'm sure someone will enjoy it. I got into RC because I wanted to build a Dynomometer for a senior project last year when I was working on my electrical engineering degree. I wrote a program and built the dyno from scratch. I made a GUI to plot torque, horsepower and speed all on the same graph. I also had the program show what RPM value produced the best torque and HP and the top speed. The actual dyno plugged into the computer through a simple USB connection. Here are a few poor pictures. I don't have any better ones because most pictures were taken with one of my group members' camera.

Here is the dyno with my E-maxx strapped down to it.

Here is the program with some test data. These are not actual results from an RC car. Normally the curves look more like you would see on a full size car dyno. I wish I had a screen shot of actual RC results.

I'll try to find some more pictures from my other group members.

develop the program for sale along with the sensors that are hard to get. and sell a build your own dyno kit.

Wow, that is awesome! Nice work! I really hope you filed a patent for this, otherwise I think you'll see your invention being made by someone else in the not-too-distant future.
