I'm really trying to figure out which one of these motors to go with. Talk to several differn't people and get all lot of differen't answers, but what I really want to know is which one has more bottom end,which one has more med, which one holds tune the best,relablity, fuel economy. etc. etc.
Any input would be greatly appricated.:doh:

The RB ws2 all the way. The p5 when you hit the gas it feels funny.

The P5 has more bottom, top ends on both are similar. As for tuning and reliablilty, they are about the same.

Don't know much about the P5 except from what friends say. One friend bashes with the P5 and races the WS7II. I think that says a lot right there.

I have a WS7II. It wont let you down. It's pretty easy to tune too. If you have the money and aren't looking to race, get the RB C5. It's just rediculous how fast it is.

what is the ws7 2 like? I'm looking to get one also, i need bottom, mid and top end..

I have very high standards for things that cost a lot. The WS7II is fairly expensive. The price recently went up $50 to $300.

That said I'd give it five out of five stars...

* It's easy to tune
* It's got excellent bottom end
* ...top end
* ... and mid
* and it is built really well. The quality is amazing.

does the ws711 come w/pullstart ,fly wheel.if not will my hyper 7 8 port fit on it.clutch and all???

The engine you are refering to does not come with a pull start. It has a backplate and will need a good starter box. The cluthbell, clutch, and nut can be swapped over from your Hyper. Hope this helps ya.

that helps alot roadrunner its going to be here wensday.have you ran this mill if so how did you like it

I have not run that particular mill. But I will say that I've read all good about it. I did learn that after purchasing a higher quality engine, it will take more time for break-in and the carbs will tune with ease. If you thought the Hyper was a pain to turn over, you got somthing comin to ya. Be sure you have a good starter box. I learned the hard way. I now have to borrow one until I purchase something better.

cool my buddy has a kick ass box. but after i asourb the cost of this buy ill buy one for my self

got my new ws711 today and they say to run there glow plugs.is there going to be any thing wrong with running a mc9 or mc59 in this mill. my hyper 8 port ran great w/mc59s???zandor

one more thing there is a red plastic thing in the carb throte do i need to take take that out or leave it in???

You should be able to run those plugs with no prob. BTW, Congats on the new engine. Sweet mill. As far as the red thing, I'm not sure. Is it a carb restrictor? Does it taper down? Are you sure it's plastic? Kinda sounds like a restictor to me. If it is, just leave it there.

I've yet to have that particular mill in my hands. Are you sure it's plastic?
Higher end mills generally have carb restrctors pre installed from the factory. These are interchangable in size, but I've only seen them made of aluminum.

its plastic. was just looking at ace hobbies were i got it it says there is an 7 8 9 mm.venturi addpaters that you can use.so witch one do i have.i juess this red plastic thing is what they are talking about..

the red plug is a restrictor, leave it in if you want better fuel economy, out if you want it to run a little meaner.. that aside,
I've run most all the RB motors on the market now (besides the .28) if you need info just ask from my web-site, so a fast grading system
1-5 "*"'s and 6 for insane /rediculious/fukn unbelievable..
I am ungiving with these grades so don't assume they're biased, they are as honest as I can be, (while drinking heavily *grin*)

always follow a reliable break in procedure, as these are high end performers, and the "bashing around" break in won't give you the full power or longevity that these motors are capable of...

hope this gives you a little better ruler to work with,

I've heard excellent things about the Medial Pro M2k. I've seen it for sale for $370 on a couple web sites.

It has gobs of power from what I understand and it's easy to tune and reliable. It's an 8-port Novarossi based engine and it's JP Black modified.

I have one on backorder at the moment. Can't wait to try it out.

But if it's between just those two engines, I hear nothing but good things about the WS7's. And I've heard that the Rex P5 is not nearly as good as the Novarossi P5.
