Just had a mild pinch done to this engine, and have NOT even started it since it was pinched. It was running perfectly before the pinch, had a trade lined up, but he wanted it pinched before the trade...then of course the trade fell through.

So anyway...I got it used and previous owner said it had 3-4 gallons on it and it needed a pinch when he sent it to me. I put it in my Truggy, fired it up...and it ran like a top...without a pinch. I have NEVER flamed this engine out. I used it as my backup engine to my Nova...and race it in probably 3 races due to issues with my Nova...and it ran perfectly every single time and temped right @ 240ish and tuned very very nicely. Bearings have @ 1 gallon or so on them. Previous owner replaced them 2-3 tanks before he sent it to me, and I only ran maybe half a gallon through it.

There is a small nick in the top of the piston, but it's been there since I got the engine and has never caused a problem. No idea what caused it, but since the engine never so much as hiccuped....I never worried about it. You can see the knick in the second picture if you look closely.

It's been in my toolbox since last season now...and I found a new backup engine to use, so I'm selling off this one.

These internal pics were taken BEFORE I had it pinched, but it has not been run since these pictures were taken.

$120 shipped to your door, or best offer.

Yup. It's a pricey engine when new for sure. It RIPS on the top end as well...I mean RIPS. lol If you have a large track or an outdoor track with some high speed sections...this is the type of engine to run let me tell you. My local track was too small to really get this thing singing, but it worked well on the short track in my Truggy as well. In a buggy it would have been perfect I think for the small track.

It's got plenty of life in it though....RB's kind of run forever if you care for them well.

The downside is a full rebuild is pricey on them....but still worth it in the end. Anyway....yeah nice engine. Buying used engines is always a risk, but I have personally run this one on at least 3 race days and it's never let me down.

Priced to move for sure....found something else I wanted ;-)

My new Alpha Plus backup engine came in...need to move this one to make room in my toolbox.

$100 shipped in the lower 48. I'll be happy to install it in my Truggy and take video of it running if that's what it takes ;-)

No longer for sale. I started it up this past weekend, and it ran so well in my Buggy...I'm keeping it ;-)
