The WS7 II has a snurel (sp?) ported con rod, and the con rod is also hard coated. I think the WS7 II also comes wit ceramic bearings. It also has a slightly larger head and comes with a 1mm larger carb. Over all the difference is minimal.

is it worth the extra $100?

I'm not really sure. Originally, with the regular S7, yes it was. But now, with the S7 II, most of the stuff that came extra with the WS7 II is standard on the S7 II also. Personally, I would get the S7 II, as I have the regular S7 and have been perfectly happy with it. Up to you though.

Thanks, I went with the ws7II. It was all my lhs had. Figured couldn't lose either way.

I don't think there's any ceramics in it. That would be against ROAR rules. I have a WS7 II and it rocks!!! Don't have any other RB so I can't compare. I do have another .21 buggy engine and the WS7II kicks its butt.

yeah - I wasn't sure about the bearings. Thanks for the correction.
