i have a few questions about starting the Revo with the RB .23

1) i got the RD starter. are there any good larger flywheels i can use.. at the moment i am running 17/36 with the 3 racing vented flywheel and the flywheel dosnt hit the starter wheel because i am using a smaller spur and have to push the engine over to get a mesh.

2) can you convert the RB .23 to rota start

Thanks Neil...

There are bigger flywheels out there you can use. I'm just not sure wether the RB uses big block ones or smallblock ones...someone will know haha.

I'm not sure about rotostart but you can use EZ start.

I've ordered the 40mm flywheel (thanks jetmechG550)

does anyone know where i can get the backplate for the RB .23

Maximizer Products sells a Revo back plate for the 2.5. Since the RB 323 uses the EZ Start, the fit should be the same so try them for a new back plate.

The 2.5R backplate is a lot deeper than most. I tried it on my OS and it stuck out from the case about 1/8" when it was installed. I thought the same thing RR, it held me up from breaking in my OS when I got it.
