I have a lazy-ass friend, who's too lazy to join the forums, so I'm left to ask his questions.

Anyway, he wants the ofna ravager, so, is it durable? fast? easy to tune? what are the problem areas?

Now, I realize that this is a relatively new buggy, so I understand if no one knows anything about it.

If i am thinking correctly i think that this is the new buggy made by ofna? a .28 seems very large for a buggy but if its a good engine it should work well. the only concern i have with ofna is getting parts.

my experience is only with the ofna brand and not this specific buggy.. but ofnas are tough!! there built well and parts are normaly on ebay or tower.. one of our bash buddys has a .28 on his buggy and that thing FLYS!!! its so fast dude.!!! if he can afford it id say go for it.. but you may end up with some problems because its a new model and they havent worked the bugs out.. and a motor that big is gonna be hard on the drive train..

edit: i looked at the sight and the front hubs looks weak!! i think its a 9.5 with a bigger motor.. doesn't have the technology and upgrades of the hyper and such..

o yea i dont doubt ofna's quality just the part problem

cvec7, is there a hobby shop near buy that you could get parts from. get the buggy that has parts readily available to you. waiting for parts sucks. :fro:

No really? And, most hobby shops carry ofna parts, including my friend's.

I have an ofna Violator, the Ravanger is a violator with a bigger motor.

the violater has taken beatings that made my Tmaxx (all RPM plastics and poop) tap out! the front C hub suspension is very durable... if he gets it tell him to re-glue the pre-glued tires, on mine (only a .26) the rubber flew off on the 3rd run (major drifting)
