pictures don't even do the truck justice, these rims make such a big difference, the truck now looks like a real truck, not stadium truck. the rims are light and very, very high quality.

exactly, the rims and tires really do make it look like a real truck. if nothing else, it needs atleast 40 series tires, but these rims in my opinion look better then plastic looking other 40 series rims. the truck is now 18" wide, 19" long.

the pics really don't do it justice, ramtech has done nice work. between ramtech doing an amazing job, and traxxas providing ok rims (break easily though) but poopy tires, it really makes the difference that much more noticable. and of course with the buy it once aluminum rims, its a one time purchase and basically the tires will even last forever too.

tires are pro-line's (pro-lineracing.com) Big Joes 40 series rubber. nice deep grooves, should do well in snow and bashing

just an update, the big joes are gone. they made the revo turn like a big rig, the front end always plowed and understeered when cornering fast because the knobs on the tires are so soft.

replaced by bowties all around. makes the truck look more like a racer and i'm going to have to be carefull now as there is no part of the tire protecting the rim, but those big joes were junk. the big joes look amazing, but make your truck handle like crap. the bowties should make it handle like stock or better and still give lots of traction...a bonus is they are much lighter too.

i'll post some new pics friday or saturday.

I was wondering about that, figured it would affect the handling. My friends just bought a set each for their Revo's, they're going to be bummed!
I' just bought a set of LST tires and wheels, I've mounted them on my Savage and will run them tomorrow.

nice choice i like the nubbies: i'm kinda new to the whole tire and rim thing on r/c trucks what is the diff in sizes ( 40 )
