I am currently running a ACOMS TECHNISPORT 2.4ghz radio system in my rig and have just purchased another rig and want to use the same radio system for that rig aswell

The Acoms Technicport has a memory so that u can run 10 diffrent cars all from the same radio at diffrent times.

I am aware to do this that i need a new reciever for my rig that is comeing but am unsure on the technicallaties..... Does it have to be a specific reviever and what not??

I would say you would just need to get the same reciever that is in your other truck along with the same crystals.

its a 2.4g so it dont have crystals :)

ill just take the reciever out of my rig now and put it in there along with the servos couse i plan on ripping my 1/10 to peices and doing a nitro drifter with it

Solly, you would need a "compatible" receiver for your new rig and you may also need to "bind" the receiver and transmitter so that they interact, (although on the point of binding i am not sure of since i only run spektrum which requires it).

so the reciever doesn't need to be the same as the reciever that comes with the contoll...... there could be other recievers that are just compatable with my controll??
