I think my radio ranges is short, maybe 150 feet. the battery is new in it.

is normal or not

and what can i do to have a longer range

different radio will offer differnet type of range. i guess it all depends on what you have.

Well, could be the antenna wire on the RX has been cut or nicked. Not knowing what radio set-up you have and radio band (AM or FM), it's hard to tell. You need to verify the length of the antenna is correct and that the TX and RX crystals are not damaged. If the antenna has been cut, replace the entire wire (do not try to add a piece to lengthen it). If the jacket on the antenna wire has been nicked, wrap it in some electrical tape or heat shrink.

it is a AM system in my hpi nitro mt

Is it a HPI radio? If so, either call HPI or go to their web site and look. If it's another manufacturer, call them. Typically, they know right off the top of their head.
