Every time I want to take the batteries out of the radio box. It takes me about 30mins to put the radio box together. Do have any tips on drilling with a demel or a drill for the wires or something. help help help.

Yep... Poor design if you ask me. Anyways, I have all my wires zip-tied and it's fairly pretty simple now. Before I was pinching wires and what not. It was a pain.

The tray that the RX is stuck to is where I made my mods. I cut half moons out on both SIDES of that tray so my wires would tuck away easier. I also ziptied the slack of all wires with TINY zip ties.

The final mod I did was to install a hump pack and a switch with a charging plug. I let the charging plug hang out ring under the switch itself. I also dremelled a small 1/4 moon if you will under the switch so the wiring didnt get pinched.

what I did was get a 6V 5 cell batter hump with charger connector on one end and the plug for the switch as well.. I used my dremel and cut out a small crease on the side and let the charger connect hang out and close the case.. so I don't ever need to take out the battery.. plus I hooked up a Hobbico battery volt meter to monitor my battery energy..

Hmmmm, a battery meter.... Interesting. I like that idea. Never a good thing when you're running and then your steering seems to get slower and the throttle/brake response has a little delay. Yeah, I need to get a hump pack, but then I need a charger. Dayum this hobby is so expensive. But, it's a hobby that I will love forever.

I like the idea of having an external charge plug.
I'm going to run a micro Deans plug out of the same opening as the switch. Dremel out a small notch and CA it there.
