Have any of you guys had any problems with taking the electronic's box off . To get to the reciver and the battiers box and to put it back together again.

Man that receiver box is a royal pain in the butt to open and close and it doesn't get any easier after experience kicks in from opening and closing it!

What are yall bitching about? I have 3 standard size servos, an Rx, about 8" of antenna, a charge lead , a 5 cell hump pack, and an XTM failsafe stuffed in there. What's the problem?

The only real problem with the box is getting the front out. But compressing the front suspension helps.

Getting a little creative with a dremel helps too!

Just watch where it binds up when you are putting the lid on. A couple of 'zip-zip''s with the rotary tool and off you go.

Like Error said, compressing the front suspension does help.

I've got a degree from the Dremel school of Machining and I never thought about bringing my buddy Dremel to the radio box lid. Error, good point on the suspension, I do that one too.

You can save yourself a lot of this grief by just replacing the stock switch with one having an extra charging lead. This is assuming you use rechargable batteries. I put in a new switch and just notched the area above the switch to allow the wire to fit through without getting pinched. The lead reaches to the front shock tower and is wire tied in place. All I need to do to recharge my receiver pack is remove the front body clips, lift the front of the body and plug the charger to the lead. These switches are well worth the $10 or so they cost.

i was havin problems to, but jus stuffed all the wires n stuff in there. hope i didnt strip anything. hehe. and the thing about the suspension Error, i do the too. just to let you know
