I know that people have asked on here before but is there any aftermarket radio boes for the savage surfacing from any companys other than fast lane.
I'm starting to get seriously sick of the stock radio box inb my savy it just gives me a headache

The only aftermarket I have seen is the radio box cover. They make a Lexan one now that can be painted if you wish. I like it only for the fact that its sooo much easier to remove and replace than the stock cover.

Some guys here have made their own custom radio boxes out of aluminum and such but i havent seen any for sale to the general public.

Why are you getting tired of it...too small for all those wires?

If so....When i first got my savage i was sick of that damn little box..but after you open and close it a few painful times...you get used to it. Have you replaced the stcok (on/off) switch with a 3 wire lead switch for recharging packs?..that sure helps bunches.

Put a hump pack in there and run the wire to charge it through the on/off switch hole, that way you rarely have to open it.

i just dremel my radio box so i never have to take the cover off to charge, lol

i got a hump with a charge lead. and a hole cut in the side so it pokes out. then set the fail safe and you never have to remove that cover again.

yea i still have the stock battery pack and i just ordered a hump pack from tower so i wont have to remove it anymore
