Ok well i had my radio box out of my savy and i decided since i had it out that i should get a failsafe. So i had the failsafe all hooked up and it wouldn't FIT IN THE RADIOBOX!! So thats where i put my foot down. I looked around and i found a DVD case and i cut out the dvd case according to the radio box. And then i cut out the post holes and mounted it. I put my reciever and on/off switch on the top of the piece i made. I left the failsafe, batterypack, and servos in the original case but i just changed the lid! now i wont ever have to mess witht that junk servo box!

I really like both designs.
Savy_Man: How is that working out for you? Is it practical? Does the battery fly everywhere or is it taped on to the surface?

Crzy-svg-usr: Is that the one HPI sells?

ohh its wrking great the battery is still in the original spot i just have the reciever on top and the on/off switch. but yea it is holding together perfect. i have the receiver taped down until i get some velcrow but it hold fine

Howd ya make that? Thats exactly what I'm lookin for. (Low in the front, but still holds all the goods)

i dont get why hpi did that, why would you want a thin lid for one, and a upgtraded lid that is the same size as stock, at least make it bigger like i did

Well the only reason I like it is because its alot more flexible and easier to get on and off.
