I am going to try to set one of my savages up for racing. It has a picco .26 in it and I am going to go with the 8 gear spyder diffs in front and rear (aluminum housings). I am also going with the Nova shock towers and buggy springs. Our track is tight with some jumps but nothing that a basher truck would see. I was wondering if these shocks would work good: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...&category=44028&sspagename=STRK:MEBWA:IT&rd=1 . I am also running maximizer offset beadlocks and Losi Zombie-max tires. Amazing how well those hook up.

My main question is on the shocks though.

Thanks,

Glenn

Turns out somebody else tried them on another forum and they are the same length as front buggy shocks, which = too short.

LOL...too short for what? The shorter shock lowers the trucks ride height, which means lower CG and better stability on the track. If they were too short to actually hook up, try a set of rear buggy shocks or T-Maxx shocks.

That is what I ended up going with. Some Ofna 9.5 threaded rear shocks. Found a guy selling them for $40 per pair shipped vs. $50 at tower before shipping.
