Racing Revo mods?

I run a 3.3 with the Vantage chassis, pipe, wing, tank skid, Tekno box, wing mount, and servo mount, pull start, Proline 23mm hubs, 40 series velocity wheels, and bow ties. I need it to be faster. What would you suggest I do next? Lets start with the cheepest stuff first and work our way up. I say this because the truck is not mine. I work for Hobbytown and its the shop racing truck. They are very picky about how much they put into it.So let me know what you think? Thanks guys!

Its going to need a new chassis. I just found out it was cracked. I'm going to Lower the gear ratio and change the hubs and tires. And put the stock chassis back on.

I'm just listing things off of my mind as i dont know the prices on these items

17mm hubs and wheels. i suggest proline velocitys, offset or not. Xtreme racing carbon fiber everything, or do your own tank/battery mount like me,aluminum rocker posts, aluminum ball ends, lunsfurd or traxxas pushrods/turnbuckles, rpm arms, get rid of front and rear bumpers/mounts, shave center skid,single servo, either cut the stock servo steering arm or use the proline arm. THS pipe, 1600mah receiver pack..uhm i think thats a nice list or what not. i do not recomend the traxxas aluminum pillow balls, seen to many getting stripped in the pits for adjustments.


where did the vantage chassis crack at? pics?

i might want to buy it and try to repair it..

Also try the OS 18TM. (Unless you want to try to cut the rear arm and put one of the Axials from the caseand use the Teraxxas BB conversion kit.)

runnin my OS .18 for a bashin engine, haha shoot $20 i picked up a brand new OS .18tm, a brand new OS .18 CV-R for the boat and a slightly used .18 cvr
