whats the best fuel To run? i'm running Odonell racing fuel. is that stuff any good . the guy at LHS said to go with that . is there a better fuel to go with? :2cents:
 
I run Odonnell 20% in all my RCs, it is a great fuel. The only thing I don't like about it, it stains everything orange. I also like Trinity Monster.
 
Ncnitro - lol. Bluethunder stains (dyes) everything Bluek, O'Donnel orange and some other fuels I use dye my metal red.

Captain crash - O'Donell is definitely one of the best fuels on the planet that I highly reco. You get consistent performance and excellent tuning. O'Donnell has more race wins them most any fuel avaliable. Some comment that "it smells weird" but I tend to disagree. It smells like victory to me..lol. They also make "nitro scents" now that you can add to your nitro fuel. I'm not sure how well they work eerr smell but might be worth a try.

As for your question, Their is no "the best" as it's a matter of personal prefference and opinion. I LOVE Bryon's fuel but it's hard to find now that I'm on the west coast. You can order it from them but it can be pricey. In order of my favorite

Bryons Race Fuel
O'Donnell
Trinity - Monster horsepower
Team Sidwinder - Race fuel or Backyard basher blend
BlueThunder - It's a proven fuel that works great
TraxxASS Top Fuel - Works very well
 
At first I used to run Trinity Monster 20%, now I'm using Byrons 20% and I fairly happy with that brand so far.
 
I run Trinity Monster Horse Power 20% i love it, works better then the Top Fuel 20%.IMHO

Odonnell 20% is what I run and love it. Was running Trinity but I noticed cooler temps with the OD's
 
While it lasted I was using 40% smurf juice (Sky can remember the brand as the name escapes me), however I have always run 30 - 40% in all my RC's and they end up running like a bat out of hell.
 
I use O'Donnel in both my RC's and I love it... Smell is cool, like freshly burnt gunpowder lol...

EP your thinking of Bluethunder

I have run:
Blue Thunder- Good, but stains engine VERY! blue.
TraxxASS Topfuel- Ran good a litte hot but good
O'Donnel- Best Running Fuel I have used..

I won't use Monster fuel unless I have to because it can Gum up your engine BAD!
 
I never hear anything but great things about O'Donnell. If I had to reco one fuel, that would be it and go fromt their.

O'donnell I have no complaints adds (well I think) more power to it and I think runs cooler.

Traxxas topfuel seemed to run hot not bad not good if you get a woof of the exhaust

Blue thunder not bad but like MC said stains stuff blue.
 
I go to 6 tracks in my area looking around on raceday probably 70% of the racers are using odonnells
