So we r gonna be building a track this year, and I'm tryin to get my truck somewhat ready to race. Gonna have some descent jumps. So i was just lookin for some ideas on what to buy to get a step up on the other stock trucks i will be running with, well at least till they start buying hop ups also. Kinda looking to beef the susp, axles and things that take a beating at the track. I have a 3.3 5308 with no reverse and i just purchased tru trac,rpm carriers and a arms all the way around. And an aluminum 3 shoe clutch setup from hot racing. Any good advice would be great!
 
At a minimum I would look at the bigbore shocks from Traxxas but think the Powerstrokes from Proline are an upgrade from those. Outside of that you already have RPM for the balance of the suspension. Maybe go with an aftermarket tire set like minipins or another type of "knobby" tire for better traction than the stockers
 
Maybe the response tires? And what about driveshafts, I'm sure they take a beating. Whats good to upgrade to MIP or just stay with the stockers and have some spares?
 
I have two sets of MIP's. I haven't had them long, but they seem like they are a quality product. I have the dog bones, and a set of the new splined I haven't used yet.
 
the swaybars are a must for a track truck i run mine in a truggy class if you would like i can list all hopups with some picks let me know if this would help you
 
My sway bars have been very dependable and I will get u a list and pics as soon as my truck is back together winter finals are tomorrow so I'm getting it ready

thanks.So as i mentioned b4 i have the tru trac, rpm arms and carriers,now have aluminum pushrods and tie rods. Rpm bumpers and mounts,3 shoe clutch, and geared down one tooth for low end. Think I'm gonna purchase sway bar kits next and upgrades for shocks.
