R40 with pixy black fm radio..?

Hey a friend of mine is selling his HPI r40 which is in new shape for $400 and i was wondering if i should go for it. Hes giving me everything needed to run. He works at the hobby shop so he did the right stuff. Let me know if its worth it

ofcourse its worth it. you got all the extra's for 140 dollar. thats not much.
the new price is around 260. so i think its a nice deal. well i would of bought it

rough estimate everything listed cost about 800+ minimum new. you decide if its a good deal.

Used stuff usually goes for 50% off the new retail price. I would just look at a couple of factors:

-- How engine was taken care of? ARO, crashes, temps, % nitro ran, amount of fuel ran, etc....
-- How much compression engine has left?
-- Why he is selling it?
-- Does that fit your budget?

It doesn't sound like a great deal or a steal, but does look like a fair market value purchase. You should try your bargaining techniques. Everything is negotiable! See if you can cut $50 off his price.
