Where can I get the silicon rubber thing for the exhaust stinger? Worth the money?? Thanks

If you could be a little more specific when asking questions you will get more accurate answers.

What RC do you have?
What exaust are you using?
Why are you looking at getting one?

If you are talking about the extender pipe, you can get them at any hobby shop. If you are talking about a cap to keep the oil from dripping out of your exhaust while you transport it, I couldn't tell you other than taking one off an old fuel bottle.

As far as the exhaust extender, I don't think they are worth it since they can fall off or get knocked off during heavy action. And it still wont keep the nitro oil off the side of your car/truck body.

Depends on the application. Some RCs IMO they are a must, others, your exactly right. This is why its important to be more exact when asking questions. The more details given the better more accurate answers you will get.

If you are talking about an exhaust deflector, they do help in keeping a lot of oil and crap off the truck, it won't keep it all off, but it does indeed make a difference. They will also make the exhaust just a bit quieter. My Savage SS S-25 also actually seems to run just a bit better with it on too.

Go to the auto parts store. Buy an "Overflow tube" made for a radiator. Choose the proper diameter that will fit your stinger. Once you have it, cut it to the desired length and cinch it down to your stinger with either a zip tie or a small clamp that uses a screwdriver to tighten. Sorry I forgot what it's called.

The reason this is a good alternative is that the overflow tube won't melt; it's sturdier than the silicone extenders; cut to length and cheaper.

Now that sounds like a better idea. That way you can route the tube out the back and never get Nitro oil on your ride.

Not always a good idea. If the tube is too long, it changes how the engine performs.
