I don't seem to have any problems with the factory setup but the design of it just bothers me. I HATE the HPI setup with that metal collar thing in between the servo savers. Same on my brothers RS4-3. It's just sloppy and a poor design.
I see the part numbers to do the Ofna mod but from the main mod post up top but I wonder should I get this one:

or this one which looks like it comes with more parts:

The first link is the one that I went with to do the throttle mod.

Yeah but I was just thinking the kit with more pieces might be better b/c well......more pieces. I also would rather have the black pieces over the purple but that's just me. I want to use the stock rods with the collars if possible and get rid of that stupid top servo saver piece which connects with nothing more then that metal c clip thing. I want it all directly connected to the servo arm mounted on the servo the way it should be.

Hey mnimud,

Do a search on the linkage mod, you'll find many different variations. The basic concept is to get rid of the servo saver and sharpen your throttle/brake response. If you don't dig the colored OFNA plastic, Dynamite makes a linkage slider kit that is black. You'll still need a single sided servo horn, which Dynamite also carries in anodized aluminum.

I've looked at a bunch of different setups from the search and see alot of people doing alot of little different things. My plan is to use the original horn and drill it as someone suggested, they said there's even a spot marked off on it that works perfectly. Then I want to use all the original metal rods as I don't see the benefit of changing them and having to bend my own. Thanks for the link to the Dynamite setup, nothing better then having choices. Now all I have to do is order one lol.
