Ok. I Am Wanting To Put Rear Steer On My Traxxas T-Maxx Classic 2.5. Is There A Kit I Could Install Without Having To Change A Whole Lot

I think Beason had 4 wheel steering on his emaxx, you might pm him about it.

i did, but got the kit from lessen i think. they are pretty expensive. what do you want to do with the truck that you need 4ws?

Nothing Really. Just Like To Have Rear Steering.

if you dont have a specific application for it. i would suggest not to get it. rear steer makes the truck next to undriveable at any speed above a brisk walk. its hard to get both trimmed so it will drive strait, and turns way to fast for any thing but a crawling type setup. I had it on an emaxx that i had setup like a crawler type truck. it was going to be a "spy truck" and i didnt want any reason for it to get stuck.

Oh Ok.I Understand. So How Hard Is It To Install The Kit And If I Dont Care For It How Hard Would It Be To Take Off.
But I Totally Agree With What Your Saying, But I'd Just Like To Try It.

its not hard to install. remove the rear skid and the bulkhead brace. put the mount in place of the bulk head brace and install the servo. you will need different tierod ends as well as a servo lead splitter and possibly and signal reverser. honestly its very expensive just to "try".

i was building a project truck. i wanted to be able to drive it around outside the house while sitting on the couch watching the tv feed from a wireless camera setup. hence the reason i wanted it to "go anywhere" so i wouldnt have to go get it all the time. the "theme" was like a spy rig. totally blacked out, CIA/FBI looking truck.
