hi guys

whats peoples views on the fg monster truck.
i have some questions.

1. how reliable are they, like the engine and drive train ect.
2. how long do the engines last.
3. dose the engine start easy all the time.
4. how fast re they compared to 1/8 nitros like the savage ect.

i am thinking of selling my savage and get an fg moster truck because nitros just arn't reliable and i havn't got the money to keep fixing it. so would an fg be cheaper to run than a savage?

Thanks Andy

the only thing i know about fg's are it can take a while to get replacment parts..

did you know hpi is coming out with a 1/5 scale gas rc called the baja 5b
http://www.rushrc.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=10701

it will be cheaper than the fg's & I'm sure parts support will be MUCH better being from hpi ...& its truly rtr add batterys & gas /oil mix & go

i doubt that the baja will be better than FG. if anything, its just a marder buggy with a different shell and wheels.

FG are the top brand of largescale R/c and i wouldnt get anything else!

HPI make great nitros, but the baja is 768 pounds over here, and the fg marder is only 400. (go figure)
