RC Driving Style
Does shaving the stops off the servo brace put too much stress on the steering servos? Someone recommended this mod, but I do some bashing and don't want to damage my servos.

Let me know if it makes a big difference in turning radius.

that shouldnt stress them any more than compared to just leaving it as is. you should do a single steering conversion on it "that thing really helps" a decent hitec servo runs about $55. or any other one with at least 125 oz of torque.
 
It really helps. I cut mine off as soon as slayden came out with this set up sheet on traxxas and ran stock servos with it. It worked great for about 1 year and just the other day I striped my first servo. Like mentioned before too, a single servo mod is always a good one too. Helps with handleing and turn radius.
