How many of you drive quads/atvs I've got one 2000 yamaha blaster and my dad has got a 2000 sportsmen 500.

i have a highly modded 05 yamaha banshee, money pit. but very fast & dangerous.

I am currently looking for a yfz or trx 450. What do you guys think, will they be a good quad for ripping flat terain and sand?

Very nice bikes! I dont have a quad or a dirt bike yet but I have had several. My buddy just picked up a 400 EX with a big bore kit in it and hot cams cam. Its fast as hell...

they both do pretty good for four strokes. I'm not a four stroke guy but since they arent in production any more u gotta buy whats available i guess. just dont get a raptor!!!! biggest waste of money in my opinion, banshee's will eat them up and poop em out all day long.

Anybody ride a YZ80? I have been riding my sons quite a bit lately (don't ask) and have gotten used to the powerband. What are they like? Sorry for hijacking the thread, sort of, but I'm just looking for advice.

what are what like??? 80's are scary for full size guys lol, I've been bucked off a few, when they hit there power band they will loop out so fast you wont see it coming.

yeah its pretty scary, but its actually lots of fun being 5'6" 156lbs. I'm a little big but its lots of fun. he is as big as I am. He's a little big for it too, thats why I want the trx or yfz. I have two quads. A 1998 polaris 250 trail boss, and a 2004 arctic cat 400. They are good, and i'm keeping the 400 because it was my father's atv. I love the trail boss. It has no "jam" but it goes good and does dohnuts on the grid roads fairly well. lol.
