Hi i'm thinking of putting a Picco .26 into my .21 stock Savage.
wot i'm asking is that if i put it in would it make any more problems like diff's blowing tranny gears stripping etc.
is it worth putting it in?

Any engine can do that it is a risk that you are gonna have to take. It is sweet with the picco. Go for it......Nick

Don't worry about the tranny, it's one of the toughest on the market. If you do go with the Picco/Wasp 26, defiantely get HD dogbones all the way round, do the spider diff mod, and get a better brake disk/brake hub, and (if you haven't already, get better rims. Also, run a 15+ tooth clutch bell and maybe drop down to the 49t spur from the SS. The Picco has mad low end torque and decent top end RPM. All in all, replacing the 21BB with a Hyper 8, Picco 26 or XTM 24-7 is one of the best things you can do to make the Savage more fun.
