I broke the strind on my pull start and i was wondering if there was anyway i could restring it? I know last time i tried it the spring shot out...but i managed to get it together....is there a special way to do it or is it better to get a new pullstart?

You can just restring it, but when the coil comes out all crazy it might take you awhile to coil it back up. That happened to me once and it took at least an hour and my fingers were hurtin afterward.

Re-coiling the pullstart isn't bad. It should only take you about 15 minutes. Just make sure you wind the coil in the correct direction.

not to be the pessimest but you could have broken the springy thing...you can usualy get a new one for about $7 which is better than the 20$ for a whole new pullstart
