Pullstart not catching, please help.

My Savage X SS pullstart only catches about half the time or less. I've checked the one way bearing and cleaned it and nothing. Any ideas? It's annoying because it would start in a few pulls if it wasn't slipping, what can I do?

You need to thoroughly clean the bearing as well as the shaft with denatured alcohol. If it still doesn't catch it's time to replace it.

Check the shaft the owb rides on too,slight wear on it will cause the same issues.
