Does anyone know where to get a pullstart for a 2.5?

My buddy fried his ez-start by leaving it in the rain, and he wants to get a pull start instead of buying a new ez-start.
 
yeah that is the right one. they are a really good thing to have on ur truck.

Also, have your friend consider buying a ez start off ebay, there are a couple auctions for ezstarts finishing in 6 hours for $0.99! Much cheaper than the recoil starter.
 
personally i do not like the easy starts. to much hassel with all of the wires and things. i would just rahter stay with the regular pull start.

You know, I have a love/hate relationship with it. I hate it when the batteries die (which is why I have a nitro, sort of defeats the purpose, huh?). But I see my friends pulling and pulling when all I have to do is press a button.

Did I mention it gets me really pissed when the batteries die?

Anyway, I have a car battery charger, so I can recharge the battery from my car... but the situation still sucks.
 
but see, if ur motor is good it will start within 2-3 pulls. that is how mine is and also i dont have to carry a battery and the starter around with me. dont have to worry about batteries dieing or anything. just need my glow igniter.

My roommate ordered one from Tower almost 6 months ago and it has still not come in. I called Tower a few weeks ago to see if it was still on order and they said they were still waiting for them from Traxxas. You could experience a long wait from Tower for that pull start.
 
hhmmm...... if u really wanted one u should just go to ur LHS and see if they have any or if they could get u one. probably be faster and maybe even cheaper.
