Ok I'm hating this EZ start and i want a pull start. What pull start should I use or can i use any kind cause on my hotboddies buggy it has a pull start which I'm willing to take out so just wondering will any pull start go on my tmaxx. 3.3 by the way.

no well I've never had a 33 so idk the 2.5 one will work i belive that much :-) hopwe this helps

I think the roto start is the best way to go.And Hot Bodies makes one.I had one and it was the best thing I ever did.

trust me you'll love that easy start after 15-16 pulls

nothing my charger dosent work anymore and i dont want to spend the money for another charger and if i do get a charger i need the peak detecting one cause I'm at school during the day so i dont want the charger to melt the batt

You don't let batteries charge unattended. EVER. ebay. Universal Smart Charger. $20 shipped. It'll charge 6-10 cells. It'll charge a 3000 mah pack in less than a hour. Less if you don't run it dead. I haven't charged my ez start bat since march and it's still going strong.

i know never to leave it unwatched but like somtimes i can't really watch it cause of school. I'm looking at the charger you said is that peak detecting?

Just get a pull start. A properly tuned and primed engine should take 1-3 pulls to start.

I just got the new 3.3 with the pullstart. I thought it would be a lot easier to deal with than the EZ start but 3 tanks after the break in and the one way bearing already is starting to slip. I'm starting to not like the pull start and seriously contemplating putting the EZ start back on. I don't have enough hands for the pull start. One for the rope, one to hold the truck down so it doesn't move when I pull and then I need another hand for the transmitter. I don't think I would reccommend the pull start

i hated my pullstart. kept brakin, buyin new ones($20). went with tiger drive. i think it's the best option even thou it sucks sometimes carrying the drill around. but when i think back to the pullstart days this is the better way to go. on my little 2.5 maxx i always fix the ez start. there is nothing easier. i guess it depends on what you do with your t-maxx besides have fun.

Well most people either use their foot to hold the truck. Or they use the butt (bottom) of the controller to hold the truck down. Usually isn't a problem.

I'm telling u that the pull starter sucks, its better to go electric.:)

Yup, save the pull starting for the mower. I want to forget about work when driving the truck, not work to start the truck. Ez start with a glow ignitor keeps me happy.
