I broke the damn thing on the secound tank grrrrrr. Brand new collari and it wont run. I think i fixed the clutch though so... ANyone got a link to a really good pull start that will fit on the collari .30?

Sorry PiErow, been fixing mine when it breaks, using mini blind cord, its broken like 5 times now...
Eric at Werks sent me this response to my email...
I'll replace your pullstart for you, what's your address? I haven't received them yet (but should be here anyday) so it'll be about a week to get to you. In the interum, use real pullstart cord, from anyone (Associated, Dynamite, etc). Also I understand people are uning Sullivan's Tigerdrive system.

And Sullivan sent this response to my question as to what Tiger Drive to use...

We just got this engine into R&D and are working on putting together a new verison for it since none of the existing models will work with it. We will be happy to contact you
as soon as we have one available. Thanks

Sullivan

Cool. I will look for dynamites cord. And eventually get tiger drive..

The trick to the pullstart on the collari is to put MORE cord in than it had stock. The stock cord is to thin and to short. I put so much in that it wouldn't wind anymore, set the spring, and started to pull out cord till it just spun free. It won't hold alot but that extra 5 or 6 inches does the trick. I haven't broken it again since. I took the spring out of an HPI nitrostar 15 pullstarter. Fits perfect. Tie double knots in the bottom and triple at the handle. It should hold fine. I am using associated cord.

I'v used cord for window blinds on a force 21 and a nitro star 25 without a problem. It's a little thicker and stronger then the stock string. but now I only use roto start. :2cents:
