hey i was thinking of gettting a pullstart, can someone give me the pros and cons of this system and if its worth it . any recommendations wich one is good

thanks

Sleazy start sytem, 1 you have to carry around a heavy stater back. 2 the system on the car is heavy. I now have pull start on both of my revo's and I might be geting a t-maxx and ill put a pull start on that too. Its so much easyer. Its lighter on the car and in your pockett. And I find that it makes it easyer to start the mill when its hot. Just my 2 cents.

what he said! starts MUCH easier then the ez start! + no more dead starter batterys! except in the glow ignighter which is no big deal

Well after breaking countless pull start cords I went back to an ez-start . I have had zero problems with it and I'm glad I went back to it . I bought a Tiger Drive setup first but didnt like how it would break the connecting rod when hydro-locked.

Screw them both, EZ start is heavy and it you have to worry about stripping gears, dead batteries, controller issues, the little motors getting rusty and lastly the crappy wires breaking off.

Pull starts are better but if you aren’t very experienced with tuning or knowing the signs of engine problems you will have very sore hands at the end of the day. Plus the cord breaking, spring breaking, case breaking, and the problems with both, DAMN OWB's.

I would go with starter box, but between those 2, I would go for the pullstart. I have had fewer problems with them.

+1 on the starter box. It starts it in like a second and saves weight. This is a $10 way to convert http://www.rcbros.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1756&PN=2
