well I'm new to these and i bought my thunder tiger touring car from my friend. he started it up for me and stuff, i got home put the glow plug in pulled on the pully and after about 20 pulls it wouldnt retract again. turns out the glow plug was bent on the tip. ok but my question is, is there anyway to get the pully working again?

You might try tapping the pully it could be just some dirt or whatever? If not you can take it apart and rewind the spring wich isn't a fun job. When I had mine broken I spent a couple of hours getting it back together.

Ok let me ask is the pull starter going back in or is your problem where its not turning the engine over. Either way you have to remove the pull start and follow above instructions then Remove and clean the OWB (one way bearing) be sure to reinstall OWB the same as it was removed so it turns the engine in the right direction.

If it is a problem that it's not grabbing onto it, as above clean it. I use WD40 which works perfectly. But yeah, either way you still have to remove the pull start.

thanks this helped alot and saves buying a new spring or pull sting part.
