pull start conversion hit snag

I'm trying to convert my hyper .21 8port race to a pull start but the pin on the one way will not enter the crank shaft. its not gonna happen unless i drill out the crank shaft and cut the pin down a bit. i checked the exploded view before i ordered the stuff and it olny shows one pilot type crank shaft so i figured mine would work but its not. so do you guys think i should grab a drill and dremmel and have at it or what? thanks

is this the same I sold you? If it is then you will have a problem like you discovered on the crank. It requires some modding. I would not do it. I would order the crank and compare the two and just do the porting on the crank and maybe the backplate you will need. LMK.

yeah its the eng you sold me. it didnt look like a new crank was required. I'm gonna search for one, although i just wanna drive this thing already!
