I've read about how a mill can be tuned that appears to be tuned properly, but isn't. Is there a way to make sure my Nitro Start .15 isn't tuned this way? Thanks for the tips.

Jim

if its running fine, idles fine, and temps. are ok, then its tuned properly.

Sounds good thanks. I do find myself leaning the HSN to nearly half the factory setting, but I guess it's ok as long as the temps are good, correct? I've leaned the LSN 1/2 turn (I dare not lean LSN any further.)

Two things to watch for: temperature and smoke. As long as the temperature is good and you get a good smoke trail, you're doing good! Like AJ mentioned; idle, performance and temps.

What you may be thinking of is a false-rich setting. Usually it happens when the LSN is out too far and the HSN is in too far. You still get good smoke, but your temps will jump. You'll figure you'll be alright because you're still getting good smoke, but in reality you are running lean.
